01 / THE CALCULATIONMore than a Sun sign
We calculate geocentric tropical longitudes for Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars using Astronomy Engine. Moon positions are included only where the required birth times are known. Jupiter and Saturn add shared-outlook and commitment themes. Unknown times omit Moon positions. An overall index is withheld unless both birth times are reported accurate and both birthplace-based house charts are available.
02 / THE COMPARISONAn index, not a prediction
Choose a connection focus to change the weights given to emotional rapport, communication, affection, attraction themes, commitment themes and shared outlook. Planetary dimensions start at 50; close aspects adjust them using a 6° orb. House overlays add a separate theme dimension. See the full model below. These are designed reflection prompts, not validated measures of success.
03 / THE HUMAN PARTNo perfect-match promises
Astrology has not been scientifically established to predict marriage compatibility. This small, illustrative scoring model is for reflection and entertainment. Shared values, consent, communication and real-life experience matter.
Data quality, sources & privacy
Four curated adult celebrity examples. Birth dates link to public source records; all celebrity times are deliberately treated as unknown, with local noon as the working estimate. Mercury, Venus, Mars and Sun positions can shift within that day, so close scores are approximate and may change with verified times. This is a limited synastry model using selected cross-planet aspects; Equal houses and the Ascendant are calculated only with adequate birth details. Celebrity comparisons remain partial and unranked. No celebrity relationship status or interest is implied. Member discovery includes only adults who explicitly opt in. Members may send an expression of interest; no messaging or contact details are provided.
Birth details entered in the chart-comparison form stay in page memory. If you separately save a member profile, your profile and birth details are stored on the server for matching; your exact birth date, birth time, time zone, birthplace coordinates and chart degrees are never returned to other members. Results may describe selected planet-to-house overlays. Connection preferences are sensitive: make a profile discoverable only if you are comfortable showing the selected shared intention to signed-in adult members. Hiding removes it from new searches and stops new interest requests. Deleting removes the active profile and its interest records. Block a member to remove discovery and interest in both directions. Ordinary provider backups may persist according to hosting retention. No analytics or third-party scripts are loaded. Birthplace search uses a bundled, shortened GeoNames cities list (18 October 2026); searches are local to your browser. Place names, coordinates and time-zone identifiers are retained; alternative-name data is omitted. GeoNames, CC BY 4.0. Missing towns can be entered with coordinates. No device location is requested. Hosting may retain ordinary access logs. Planet calculations: Astronomy Engine (MIT).
Profile photographs follow the same visibility and blocking rules as discovery. Uploaded images are resized and re-encoded to JPEG in your browser before storage to remove embedded location metadata. Hiding stops new photo requests by other members. Removing a photograph or deleting a profile removes the active stored photograph; copies already saved by viewers cannot be recalled.
Composite charts are separate midpoint interpretations, not extra compatibility points. We use shorter-arc planetary midpoints and Equal houses from the midpoint Ascendant, not a Davison chart. Exactly opposite points have ambiguous midpoints and are omitted. Unknown or approximate birth times omit the composite Moon, angles and houses. No composite overall score is assigned. Supportive and challenging aspects are listed separately; neither diagnoses a safe or harmful relationship.
